Evan shook his head. "Anyways it sounds like everyone is concerned with the war.. Maybe this was a bad idea after all." He said, then looked back at the door way. "Should we think about turning around and going back to the Forest of Menos?"

"That's stupid.. Why come all the way here just to turn around. And when we finally have someone to give us answers!" Lilith said, coming up with a little bit of a hiked up dress. "Ask him if the Forest of Menos would be any better" She demanded. When Evan tried to object, she rightfully stomped on his toe and his reasons to stop them was lost forever.

"What of it?" Kar asked, with confusion and slight irritation, which was rewarded with the tiniest flick of the blade again. Normally the blade would be replenished of poison now, but stuck in a body, the poison is just transferred to the body. Which kept him numb and his pain receptors inflamed. He bit his lip again and whimpered.

"As an arrancar that place is pretty useless, but it could heal that scratch. However, you won't get anything to eat there. You don't feed off souls anymore." He explained, then watched the girl look back up at the empty spot at his side, and mime something that resembled her trying to get an 'ok' from someone. As if someone was telling her to torture answers from him.

Evan had a rightfully smug look on his face. which pissed Lilith off. She glared down at the other hollow, wanting to kick him while he was down! "Hollows submit to the more powerful ones among themselves, Rose. You may still have a chance to impress them and get into the ranks anyways. If they are as weak as he says, then if you just challenge them they might be willing to consider you. And if they take you up on your challenge, it shouldn't be a hard fight." Evan explained, with another possible idea. "If what this man says is true." He also could be the worse example.. The war happened a long while ago, they could have already healed and are ready for another fight.

"What?" Kar was surprised and confused all at the same time. But then the blade in his shoulder dug in, this time a more obvious twist as it sunk into what was left of his flesh! He grit his teeth and screamed into his throat, unable to hold it in all the way.

They locked eyes again at that point, and the seriousness of her request hit him with a slap to the face. And they staid there, suspended in a moment of challenge, and he was faced with the decision to accept and take a swing.. Or stand down and do as he was demanded..

The pressure slowly consumed Kar..

The pressure of the situation, so thick in the air did it hang.. Her pressure, a massive power was held deep inside this little girl.. A young little thing that showed him just how intimidating a blank stare can be.. And the pressure of her weight in his shoulder.

Finally Kar broke, and fell back against the solid floor. "F-Fine.. Get off me." He complains, looking defeated.. He wasn't sure he could take her, but he didn't want to be known as the guy who broke under the hollow's pressure. He at least had the fact that no one was here watching on his side.. He could be known for bringing a powerful hollow in.

Maybe she'd enter the fight for the crown, maybe she would be an awesome ki- queen. Maybe he'd be rewarded for his help?

Rose yanked the gliave out of his shoulder with a powerful tug, and he tensed up again, bitting his lip and holding his shoulder when he could.

Then again.. She didn't seem like the type of person that was grateful.. Perhaps powerful.. But a little crazy.

The weaker arrancar stood up, grabbed his arm, and started to make his way slowly through the threshold, behind him Rose shoulders her pole-arm weapon, glances at Evan who shrugged, and then followed the silver eyed hollow. Behind her followed Evan and a disappointed Lilith.

Ikari stood atop a distant sand dune, watching the events unfold as Ekisha predicted they would. That girl, she could be terrifyingly accurate sometimes. And Rose... Perhaps Akumu picked correctly for a change? He had viewed what occured within the terminal through her perspective. She was rather terrible at blocking her thoughts from traveling across the soul link, it was easy to eaves drop.

But that didn't matter, things were proceeding as planned.

All that remained now was taking control of the arrancar faction. Or at least manipulating it just enough for what Ikari needed. He pondered whether Rose would be sufficient for this. She was as close to brain dead as anyone could get at this point, though Evan appeared to be intelligent enough.

Yes, that will have to do. Ikari smiled ever so faintly, as his darkened eyes tracked the two as they went along. This would be a rather entertaining day.

Evan paused... But decided against doing whatever the reason he stopped, and continued behind Lilith who has walked a head of him by now in their following of both hollows.

As Kar lead, he squeezed the wounded arm, leaving drips of blood on the floor. Again, only Evan noticed this, and decided to keep that in mind. But Kar seemed to understand fully that his arm was indeed numb to the pain it was in. He could feel the squeezing,, but nothing more. "H-Hey. Woman." He started, looking behind his back as they passed through the long rectangular door way. "What the hell did you do to my arm?"

It was noticed how nervous he was to speak, but he was trying to still appear tough even when he was being commanded by another hollow. But Rose didn't respond.

Evan had to question it to actually realize what he was talking about. Perhaps Keyno could have answered Kar, or Ikari who's had the pleasure of taking even a more closer look at Rose than her boyfriend. But Evan looked straight at the glaive that lay against Rose's shoulder. He wondered how much Rose knew about even herself. The old Rose might glance at him for the answer, but this one seemed content with not answering.

"He must be talking about your poison. Your zanpakutou has a taste of your poison on the blade. Its a passive form of Lilith's poison, so its not going be very entertaining to watch.. But in a moment or two, he's going to feel that pain again." Evan informed her.

"As long as he doesn't die from it." Rose commented, coldly.

This comment was enough to make Kar unresponsive to the fact that Rose was talking to someone other than him. He stopped and turned around to face her. "W-What do you mean as long as I don't die!?" He exclaimed, shaking his fists in a half offended way. There was no seriousness to his threat though.. "What did you put in my arm!" He demanded.

Rose stopped, and so did the other unseen two behind her. Lilith rolled her eyes. "Would you please tell his guy to shut up and suck it up. When he is hit with that pain again he'll be begging you to do it again." She remarked, like she might know what was going on. But she didn't know. She was accurate, but she didn't know.

"If you don't do something about this-!!" Complete shock shot through his facial features, before he fell forward at the hip and face planted against the solid polished floor. He screamed as loud as he could til his heart's, or lack of heart, desire. Until he was gasping for air. He turned up his face and glared at her. "Bitch.. What the.." He couldn't say more, if only because of the pain that erupted in his arm. It was as if the attack that left him severely wounded happened again.

Kar has only known this hollow for an incredible short while, but the fact that she said anything like what she had, made him nervous. Not cold stairs, upfront demands.. Well 'cept that last line. No.. She would fit in just fine with whatever was left of the arrancars that ruled this city in Aizen's command.

He struggled to get up, grabbed his arm, and then walked closer to the place they were going..

The next room they came across was a large space with red towering pillars stand three stories tall. Well.. Some of them did. About 20% of them still stood erect, but the rest of them were rubble at the base, or knocked over and stacked across or under a few more. The place looked trashed, and Kar was a bit stunned by this. An arrancar of great power used to reside here.. But no longer did she stand. He himself didn't know where she was. But there was a possibility that she was underneath the pile of cracked, crushed, and broken pillars..

To Rose, this meant nothing. Not even Evan knew what significance this meant. But she glanced around as Kar seemed upset by the vision of destruction.

Evan noted that there were suspicious fissures in the pillars that stood. Like when water sunk into the roads, froze and expanded to make the crack even bigger, and then melt away like the winter ice did in the northern states. Creating pot-holes in roads.

There were craters too, where anyone with the abilities like an arrancar could have landed after being shoved. The whole place looked like a battle field. It looked intense enough, but it was obvious someone had a very deserved victory in this place, and the other person had fought hard, only to lose.

That or someone with the same temper as Lilith got told she wasn't allowed to play, and destroyed the place out of rage.

Evan nudged Rose towards Kar. She didn't look happy to be pushed towards him, but instinctively understood what Evan wanted. What Evan always wanted. More information. He wanted the whole story, even the finest details of things. He enjoyed long stories with stupid amounts details. He enjoyed listening to things like dreams and folk lore.

Lilith could care less, it seemed. She seemed as impatient, or more impatient with Kar's sudden stop to behold the damage done by some unknown figure.

Kar looked back when he heard the new girl speak. His mouth hung open still before he realized she asked him, in her own way, what had happened to make him act this way.

"Privion Espada" He started, turning back around to face the room. "Aizen.. I blame him! He forced us under his power, and then changed all the rules. I can't imagine any of those he put out here liked him.." He stopped talking, shook his head, and then slowly lead the way through the rubble. "I'm glad he's dead.."

"I didn't like to.. But everyone that made waves vanished. Or were just out right killed." Kar grumbled. He clung to his shoulder a bit tighter as he thought of all the wasted lives. He.. He would never be a leader type. He felt obligated to keep out unwanted people, especially if he could do anything about another Aizen. He didn't see this arrancar being another ruthless ruler.. But he wasn't sure how anyone was going to react when they saw her.

Hell... He wasn't sure anyone was even still here. Wounded hollows passed the gates in front of him, who's to say any of them were still alive. They all could have divided in two or more sides, and started fighting among themselves. This damage could easily have been a place where the division happened. Someone said something. the fight had made things tense..

If anyone was still alive, they'd be in the center of the palace. If any espada were left, they'd be in their homes. But they could be met by anyone on the way. Friend or foe.

Kar and Rose navigated the room, crawling up one pile, sliding down the other side, jumping over this pillar, walking through that break, squeezing through these chunks of stone.

There appeared to be cleanly broken, or sliced pillars towards the end of the room. Making it both easy to move around it, and Evan curious.. But Rose wasn't complying to his requests.. They silently slipped through another door.

That was a straight long walk way with pillars on either side, a hallway leading to some other destination. The first mile was spotless, but someone must have walked this same way at some point.. And someone had tried to stop them. No one was putting themselves in their way at this moment in time, but the fighter that had passed through must have created that large hole in the wall.

On the other side of the wall was more sand. So much that Lilith's reaction was rage. She stomped the polished ground with her sleek heel and made a fist with her free hand. "Were getting no where! Cut this loser's head off!" She screamed, and glared at Kar.

Rose stopped and looked behind her to look back at Lilith. "Now what's wrong with you?" She spoke out loud. Looking right at Lilith.

The stop confused Kar, but not as much as the words that came out of the girl's mouth. "What's wrong with who?" He asked, but his voice was quiet, as he wasn't sure he should ask.
